Splunk Dashboard: Inventory

Fleet-wide visibility into post-quantum cryptography readiness across hosts, applications, operating systems, and core cryptographic technologies.

The Inventory dashboard provides an enterprise-level view of post-quantum cryptography readiness. It summarizes how hosts and applications are positioned across operating-system readiness, key exchange, certificate signatures, and TLS protocol use.

Use this dashboard to identify areas of strong readiness, locate populations that require modernization, and compare cryptographic posture across operating-system platforms and applications.

Default time range: Last 30 days Primary focus: Host, application, platform, and cryptographic readiness

Operational guidance: Review the readiness dimensions together. A host or application may be ready in one area while still requiring modernization in another. Use the filters to narrow the dashboard to a specific operating system or cryptographic category, then compare the summary, platform, and detail sections.

Reading the Dashboard

Start with the Quantum Readiness Report

Review operating-system and key-exchange readiness percentages and host counts first.

Compare the Crypto Posture measures

Differences among OS Platform, Key Exchange, Certificate Signature, and TLS Version can reveal uneven migration progress.

Examine platform readiness

Use the operating-system tables to identify which platform versions have the largest populations and how they are classified.

Review cryptography readiness

Use the key-exchange, TLS protocol, and certificate-signature tables to identify the technologies present and the tiers assigned to them.

Filtering and Implementation Notes

Use the Time Range, Key Exchange, TLS Protocol, Cert Signature, and OS Category controls to focus the dashboard. Category filters default to All.

Selecting multiple filters narrows the results to records that satisfy all active selections. Readiness colors are used consistently: PQC READY is green, MODERN is blue, CLASSICAL is amber, and LEGACY is red.
